Upcoming Deaccessions The History Center at Olmstead County is undertaking a collections management project that will include the deaccessioning of items from the collection. Institutions will have the opportunity to request items from the deaccession list. The list will be available online on May 15, 2010. Use the Login ID: Burt Eaton and password: Curator.
"Preserving the American Historical Record Act" Read about this new legislation, introduced on May 3, 2010 in the U.S. Senate to support archives and the preservation of historical records at the state and local level. While there, she attended a new Civil War sesquicentennial exhibit. Sometimes local historians must travel long distances to discover something about local history. |
