Field Note

Mt Lake Marker

With the assistance of a small grant from the Minnesota Historical & Cultural Grants program, people have better access to the story of how the current Mountain Lake in Cottonwood County was created during the Great Depression. Do you have similar projects that could make history more legible? Consider applying for a small grant while funds remain. Hurry, both time and money are in short supply.
