Spotlighted Project: Museum HVAC Assessment

Recipient: Lake of the Woods County Historical Society
Funding Amount: $6,600

The Lake of the Woods County Museum was originally constructed in 1979 and has served as a valuable historical and cultural resource ever since. The museum was subsequently expanded by the addition of Gallery 2 to accommodate the growing collections. The Museum is embarking on its second expansion project which will add approximately 2,900 square feet to the building, bringing the total floor space to 9,000 square feet. The purpose of the assessment is to provide an evaluation of the proposed HVAC system and to identify and recommend enhancements and/or alternatives for the new system.
