Field Note

Random Act of Vandalism
On Monday August 18, 2014 a person deliberately broke a storefront window on the Lyric Building in Virginia MN. He was angry at being asked to leave an establishment across the street. Not only is this damage senseless, but the $1,000 to replace it is a major expense for a non-profit already on a tight budget. The Lyric Center has scheduled reconstruction of its store front within the next few years, so there are pros and cons to putting in new glass.
Start a conversation: We'd love to hear ideas from other historic building owners.
