Minnesota Historical & Cultural Heritage Grants

Spotlighted Project: Cummins Grill House Fire Suppression System Installation

Grant funding helped cover the cost of installing a fire suppression system in the John R. Cummins House, listed in the National Register of Historic Places. This is an important step in helping to preserve this historic community resource and enabling more people to enjoy it.  A wall-mounted system was chosen based on an analysis of non-reversible disturbance to the original lathe and plaster walls and ceilings that are found throughout much of the house.

Recipient: Eden Prairie Historical Society
Funding Amount: $7,000
