MGG Films to be Screened at the MSP International Film Festival

See the five Award Winning films from the 2006 "Moving Pictures" competition on the Big Screen!  The films will be shown as part of the 25th Annual Minneapolis/St. Paul International Film Festival. The films are featured in the film festival's Minnesota Documentaries Program.

Both Randal Dietrich and Eric Pedersen will be available to answer any questions regarding the 2007 "Moving Pictures" film competition.  This is an ideal opportunity to meet and greet many of the 47 registered filmmakers for the 2007 competition.

The IFP MN 8th Annual Independent Producers Conference 

A successful independent film producer knows the important elements of the business of filmmaking and how to utilize them to their full advantage. 

Legendary award-winning film producer Christine Vachon, along with 2007 Oscar winner Scott Z. Burns and other distinguished guests, will present the nuts and bolts of financing, marketing and distrobution and more, providing street-smart savvy and real-world examples.

South Metro Short Film Festival

The South Metro Short Film Festival is a film festival for independent filmmakers residing in the south suburbs of Minneapolis / St. Paul, Minnesota. The festival takes place in early fall and provides a forum for filmmakers of all abilities. Contact Colleen Callahan for submission, workshop, and festival details.

World War II History Roundtable

View selected films from the 2006 "Moving Pictures" competition, screened to audience of 300, prior to the monthly World War II History Roundtable gatherings at Historic Fort Snelling.  The last Roundtable of the season will meet on May 10.

MGG Short Films at the World War II Memorial Dedication

Selected films from the 2006 "Moving Pictures" competition will be screened on June 9, 2007 as part of the World War II Memorial Dedication Ceremony on the Minnesota State Capitol grounds.  More details concerning the Memorial will be shared next month.
