The interactive exhibits at the Visitor Center let you explore the fur trade and learn about the people involved.

• Look at the 24 foot long north canoe and all the merchandise it carried
• Model the fashionable hats
• Figure out what your employees and customers are trying to tell you
• Try your hand [and back] at lifting a voyageur pack.

The exhibits explore the global economy of the fur trade, the work lives of those involved in the fur trade, cross-cultural communication, women's roles within the fur trade and archeological tools used to uncover information about the fur trade.
