Kids are encouraged to handle the items on display in the historic site. The North West Company Fur Post is a total re-creation, so everything is interactive. By handling and examining reproductions, visitors gain a better understanding of the past.

Kids can try their hands using some of these tools, just like the voyageurs did over two hundred years ago.
