Barns: Siemer Silo and Barn

Location: Nobles Co. Hwy. 19, Grand Prairie Township, Nobles County
Built: 1918, 1936
Builder: Charles Siemer
Listed on NRHP: May 15, 1980

This simple gambrel-roofed, wood-frame barn is an excellent example of a typical 20th-century Minnesota barn. The 40-foot-tall, wood-hoop silo is a rare late example of a type commonly built in the 19th century.
