The Zachman Institute for Framework Advancement (ZIFA) is based upon the work of John Zachman, a leading expert in the area of enterprise architecture. The Zachman Framework, first introduced in the late 1980s, is a graphical tool for "sorting out very complex, technology and methodology choices and issues that are significant both to general management and to technology management." The ZIFA site offers information on the Framework and bibliographies on related subjects.
