drawing

A group of fifteen People cross the river they set their baskets down in a clearing of oak trees, put their went clothes out to dry on flat rocks along the river, and stretch out in the sun. No one noticed a spear point fall into the grass when one woman put her pack down. She had been saving the point to attach to a new spear shaft.

Someone else put out a knife and cuts a piece of dried fruit to eat while getting dinner ready. He puts hot stones in a water-filled leather bag by the fire until the stew boils.

Children splash near the bank of the wide, shallow river.
