Legacy Field Trip Support Fund
Transport your students to exciting, hands-on history field trip destinations in the 2012-2013 school year.
The Minnesota Historical Society's Legacy Field Trip Support Fund offers financial assistance to offset transportation costs to any of the Society’s 26 museums and historic sites statewide.
Eligible Minnesota schools must have 25% or more of its students enrolled in the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program and complete a field trip to one of the Minnesota Historical Society’s historic sites or museums before June 30, 2013.
If your school qualifies for these funds and funds are still available, your school will be reimbursed at the rate of $3 per student in attendance on the date of the scheduled field trip. Attendance numbers collected from the site will be used to process your reimbursement check, which will be sent to your school within 40 days of the field trip’s completion. If your school does not qualify for this reimbursement, please visit our scholarship page to see the other grants available for this school year.
