History Center Field Trips: School Age Care Groups
Three field trip packages are available to help your students explore the museum, sharpen their historical skills, and dig deeper into specific historical topics. Choose the package that best meets your field trip needs.
Museum Package
Select from three different activities developed to engage your students in an active learning experience as they explore the History
Center's museum exhibits.
Allow 1 to 2 hours for this program package.
Fee: $5 per student
*Member discounts do not apply to field trips.
SummerTime Package
Play historic games, climb through a Grain Elevator, make your own World War II glider, experience a tornado, and meet a character from Minnesota's past!
Allow 2 to 3 hours for this program package. Package only available from June 9th through August 31, 2009
Fee: $6 per student

Museum-Plus Package
The Museum-Plus Package includes both a visit to the History
Center's museum exhibits, using one of the activities from the Museum Package, and a 50-minute classroom History Lesson. History Lessons examine specific historical topics and bring students in contact with the real stuff of history - documents, photos, objects, and more.
Allow 2 to 3 hours for this program package.
Fee: $7 per student
