John Pillsbury

John Sergeant Pillsbury was a Minnesota businessman who became governor during the Grasshopper Plagues of the 1870s. He was an important figure in the St. Anthony Falls milling district and owned a hardware store in the area. His contributions to the state included work with the University of Minnesota.
