iPad App
Get your free copy of the Minnesota Historical Society's new app, "Minnesota and the Civil War," a free, limited-time download of a fully interactive prototype iPad App for the Civil War chapter in the Revised Second Edition of the Northern Lights Minnesota history textbook.

- zoomable, high-definition primary source images from the MHS collection including a full size bayonet.
One reason we're providing the app free (for a limited time) is to gather feedback--from those who'll be teaching it in the 6th grade classroom and the general public. If you're willing, please fill out our survey after you've reviewed the app. It will help our team as we move the curriculum into the digital world.
The prototype was tested in Becker and Baxter classrooms, with enhancements and changes made as a direct result of student and teacher feedback.
