Participation Survey 2012
In order to determine the number of students who may participate at the spring regional events, all teachers who intend to send entries to competition need to fill out the participation survey no later than Fri., Jan. 20, 2012.
The lead teacher from each school must fill out one survey for the entire school, listing the total number of students completing projects in each of the five categories.
When History Day staff receives all school surveys, each school is assigned a certain number of projects it may bring to its particular regional event. Assignments are made on a proportional allotment basis; schools with higher participation are allowed to enter more students into the regional competitions. Schools will receive their numbers by Mon., Feb. 6, 2012.
