SHPO Transfer Update

Older announcements

The State Historic Preservation Office is moving to a new home at the Minnesota Department of Administration and will have limited operations for five days, from Feb. 26 to March 2, 2018. During this time, the public will not be able to access research files. In addition to the physical move, it will take time to settle into a new administrative system. As a result, project review times may extend up to 45 days for projects submitted to SHPO after Feb. 26 and through March 9. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Local History Services and the Grants Office will remain at MNHS. There may be some impact on grant review, however MNHS is committed to keeping any impact to a minimum. Grant application deadlines for calendar year 2018 will remain the same.

SHPO is moving to:

State Historic Preservation Office
50 Sherburne Avenue, Suite 203
St. Paul, MN 55155-1402
(New phone numbers and emails to come)
