Emergency flood grants
National Endowment for the Humanities announces $1 million in Emergency Flood Assistance Grants for museums, libraries, archives, universities and other cultural and historical institutions in federally designated disaster areas affected by the floods in the Midwest. Preserve America Grants
National Park Service welcomes grant applications from eligible applicants for projects up to $250,000. Applications are due June 30, 2008.
MDL Phase 5 Proposals Due
The Minnesota Digital Library announces applications are now open for digitization projects for Phase 5 of the development of Minnesota Reflections, our digitization and database project. Please consult with Marian Rengel as you begin considering a digitization project for Minnesota Reflections. While applications are available now, digitizing will begin July 1, 2008.
Preserve America Stewards
The program will recognize stewardship programs that have demonstrated a successful use of volunteer time and commitment in order to help care for our cultural heritage. Government entities (federal, tribal, state, or local), non-profit organizations, and businesses are eligible to apply to have their programs recognized. NEH Grant guidelines available
National Endowment for the Humanities funds humanities projects that are intended for broad public audiences at museums, libraries, historic sites and other historical and cultural organizations. Planning and implementation grant applications from America's Historical and Cultural Organizations may be submitted at two annual deadlines:
August 27, 2008 and January 21, 2009.
