I taught U.S. history at local colleges and universities for twelve years, training more than 200 students to conduct oral history interviews. I have delivered over 50 presentations on topics including oral history, women Vietnam veterans, and the Salvation Army’s Booth Memorial Hospital. My work has earned recognition from the Oral History Association, the Minnesota Book Awards, St. Catherine University, the National Women’s Studies Assoc, and Woodrow Wilson Fdn.
