Archaeology Reports
Of the some 2,800 archaeology reports on file in the State Historic Preservation Office, most are survey, evaluation, and mitigation reports written as part of the environmental review process and as products of state and federal grants. There are few general archaeological research materials in the SHPO archaeology report holdings.
Standing Structures
Reports
Most of the 700 Standing Structures Reports in the SHPO files
are generated by federal agencies as part of the environmental
review process. Some reports are products of Certified Local
Government grants and other SHPO-funded research projects.
