Creating Our Future Campaign

Creating our future campaign.

Our generation’s gift to the future

This year, the Minnesota Historical Society is inviting you to participate in a special effort to fund a set of extraordinary, one-time projects that will leave our state’s heritage in strong, usable order for the betterment of generations yet to come.

Minnesotans have always understood that history matters.

From 1849, when leaders first established an organization to preserve and celebrate the stories of our state, through today, when more than one million visitors and students enjoy historical sites and programs each year, the Minnesota Historical Society has consistently moved our state forward by sharing its past.

Whether you can give $10, $100, $1,000 or more, you can be sure that your special, one-time gift to the Creating Our Future Campaign will be a lasting gift to Minnesota’s future. When we tackle the major needs of today – restoring crumbling historic sites, preserving and digitizing newspapers, investing in programs for children, expanding online access – we can leave our shared heritage in strong, well-preserved, usable condition for our grandchildren and the generations yet to come.
