Have a drink with friends while learning about Minnesota history in the intimate setting of the Sibley Historic Site. A new topic will be offered on the second Friday of each month, May-November.

In July, join author Steve Werle for a discussion about Harold E. Stassen based on his book Stassen Again.

Werle will examine the rich legacy of this famous, but often misunderstood Minnesota politician and statesman. In all of his guises—as Minnesota's Depression-era "boy governor," as co-author of the United Nations charter, as a member of the Eisenhower administration, and as a perpetual presidential candidate—Stassen consistently argued for moderation, tolerance, and common sense during times when America, and the world, was in woefully short supply of each.

Steve Werle teaches high school AP history. Stassen Again is published by MNHS Press.

Doors open at 5:30 pm, and the presentation begins at 6 pm. Light food and one drink ticket will be provided with each paid admission for ages 21 and up.
