Winter Frolic Fest at Historic Forestville
Winter activities for visitors to enjoy alongside friends and family
PRESTON, Minn (January 24, 2023) – Historic Forestville hosts a day of outdoor fun and activities to cure cabin fever and celebrate all that makes Minnesota winters special.
At Winter Frolic Fest on February 4, guests of all ages can participate in seasonal favorites including horse drawn rides and a snowman building contest. Free snowshoe rentals will be available for those interested in exploring the park’s trails.
Visitors can warm up by the fire and also cook their picnics in pudgy pie irons. Free crafts will be available inside the picnic shelter, along with s'mores, hot cocoa, and cider, courtesy of Friends of Forestville.

In the case of inclement weather, the event’s reschedule date is February 11. Tickets can be purchased in advance at mnhs.org/forestville or on site the day of the event.
