Winter Adventure Family Fun Day at the Forest History Center

A winter celebration featuring outdoor fun for all ages

GRAND RAPIDS, Minn (February 13, 2023) – The Forest History Center hosts a day of outdoor entertainment with games and activities for families to celebrate the magic of Minnesota winters.

At Winter Adventure Family Fun Day on February 25, visitors can get outside to enjoy this special event. Highlights of the day include horse drawn sleigh rides, live raptor shows, the Ojibwe game of snow snake races, tomahawk throwing, a snowshoe scavenger hunt, and the ever-popular sliding hill.

Guests are also welcome to explore the site. Trails will be open for skiing, snowshoeing, and biking.
