Hill House Event Assistant

The James J. Hill House staff  is seeking a team of volunteers to assist with evening and weekend events and rentals at Minnesota's Downton Abbey.

The team will work together to move tables, chairs, and supplies to set up and clean up; check in ticketed visitors, and staff the front desk in an elegant and historic setting. Depending on the occasion, volunteers may also assist with a variety of tasks such as managing groups on house tours or serving refreshments.  

Volunteers must enjoy working with visitors of all ages, especially adults and rental groups. Volunteers must be available for evening and weekend events 6 - 12 times per year. Great customer service skills and the ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds are required. (There's an elevator behind the scenes.)
