Work from audio tapes to transcribe oral history interviews and make the Voices of Minnesota accessible to the public. In the process, you'll be one of the first to hear fascinating stories. Volunteers will work with staff to select the recordings they find most interesting.

Ability to use computers and programs such as Microsoft Word is required. Must have a working knowledge of the English language and grammar.

Commit to one half-day per week for a minimum of six months.  The work will be done at the Minnesota History Center. Training for oral history standards and transcription software use will be provided.
