Horse-Drawn Trolley Tours
Meet our big, gentle draft horses and climb aboard a horse-drawn trolley for a guided tour of the Forest History Center!
Join this scenic one-hour historic tour, where two strong and gentle draft horses pull a wheeled trolley through the Forest History Center. Learn about the geology, the natural history, and the human history that make up our 200-acre site. While rolling through the forest, you’ll visit the Mississippi River, our old Homestead ruins, our turn-of-the-century logging camp and river drive camp, and a 1934 Minnesota Forest Service cabin. Tours take place on Fridays and Saturdays, September 11 through October 17 at 10:15 am and 12:15 pm. Site admission is not included with ticket purchase.
