The Forest History Center has everything you need to spend the day "away from it all."
Free on-site parking is available for cars and buses.
The visitor center houses a museum store with a variety of items related to Minnesota history, forestry, and the north woods, as well as specialty books, wood carvings, local honey, and jewelry.
There are no dining facilities on-site. Snacks and bottled water are available for purchase in the visitor center. Picnic tables and a picnic shelter are available.
Wheelchairs and strollers are available at the visitor center. Please call 218-327-4482 for availability.
Service animals are permitted. For safety reasons, service dogs are not allowed in close proximity to horses in the barn. Pets are not allowed.
The site is equipped with both first aid kits and AEDs.
