We're excited to welcome you back to the Minnesota History Center! Learn about new health and safety protocols and additional information below to help you plan your visit.
Keeping us all safe
We have put safety measures in place to protect the health of our visitors, staff, and volunteers:
- We are conducting enhanced cleaning of high-touch surfaces and providing hand-sanitizing stations for visitors.
- Social distancing is encouraged.
- If you are feeling sick, have flu-like symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who has recently had COVID-19, please visit us another time.
Visitors and staff are not required to wear masks. The CDC and MDH recommend masking for all unvaccinated people. Please be respectful of staff and visitors whatever their decision.
Please buy your tickets in advance online or through the box office at 651-259-3015.
Tickets are timed-entry. Please arrive promptly to reduce overcrowding, and bring your printed or electronic ticket to the ticketing desk to get your wristband. Limited walk-up tickets are available and must be purchased before 3:00 pm. The museum closes at 4:00 pm.
Some exhibits have been removed or modified to allow for social distancing. Updated cleaning protocols are in effect for high touch surfaces like buttons and touch screens. Staff members are available to share information and answer questions.
Dining services are temporarily unavailable.
