Field Note

Main Street Capitol Day 2026-03

Main Street Day at the Capitol 2026 was held at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul to support local community development and small businesses. Organized by Rethos, it featured legislative meetings, storytelling about local successes, and a celebration of Main Street Minnesota's 10th anniversary.  Staff from Rethos and from Main Street programs across the state gathered in the restored Justices’ Dining Room before meeting with legislators. Participants wore t-shirts promoting a proposed license plate initiative designed to help fund Main Street programs.
