Aldo Leopold was a conservationist, forester, philosopher, educator, writer and outdoor enthusiast. On this day, learn more about the man who many consider the father of wildlife management. Activities include readings from Leopold's collection of essays, "Sand County Almanac," screenings of "Green Fire," a documentary about his life, Dutch oven cooking, demonstrations on how to build a Leopold bench and nature walks.
