Included with site admission of $6 adults, $5 seniors and college students, $4 veterans/active military and ages 5-17, free age 4 and under and MNHS members

Learn how traditional bow and arrow weapons impacted Dakota living and their role in the survival and sustainability of the Dakota people. Try your hand on the archery range with naturalist Scott Kudelka in a program that covers the basics of archery, including safety, proper care of the equipment and how to shoot an arrow.

Staff will also demonstrate traditional wasna-making; learn about this food source and the benefits it provided to Dakota hunters during their scouting and hunting expeditions.
