Come and listen to stories of one of the most remote lighthouses in North America and how volunteers are working to restore and preserve its history.

Perched atop a knife-edged reef, the Rock of Ages Lighthouse has stood watch, silently guarding the rocky shores of western Isle Royale in Lake Superior for more than a century. For over three decades this 10-story structure was left to the wind, waves and ice without a caretaker to maintain it. Then the Rock of Ages Lighthouse Preservation Society was formed to carry on the history of this amazing structure and provide an opportunity for all to experience a lost way of life.
