Enjoy a talk from NDSU graduate student Emma Novak on her research on Harriet Tubman. Novak will track Tubman's life from her time as an enslaved woman in the American South to her life as an activist changing ideas about slavery and women's rights. Through her actions, Tubman became a role model for women today.

After the lecture, enjoy light refreshments from Rustica Eatery & Tavern and explore one of the Fargo-Moorhead area's most historic homes.
