Hear from historian and NDSU doctoral candidate Robert Foresman as he discusses early Moorhead architect W.H. Merritt. While Merritt was active throughout the United States during his lifetime, he is best-known around Moorhead for designing the Kassenborg Block and Moorhead's Carnegie Library. Foresman will discuss Merritt's work and his impact on the development of architecture in the Red River Valley as well as the Pacific Northwest.

After the lecture guests are welcome to enjoy refreshments, mingle, and explore one of Moorhead's most historic homes.
