Enjoy a concert by the Hill House Chamber Players performed in the intimate setting of the James J. Hill House art gallery. The 2018-2019 season's theme, "Trio Masterworks," is a celebration and exploration of the diverse repertoire for combinations of piano, violin, viola, cello, and clarinet. Repertoire for organ and strings will also be included to celebrate the restoration of the 1891 Hill House pipe organ.

In their 34th season, the Hill House Chamber Players have built each program around one major piano trio, including Beethoven "Ghost" Trio, op 70, Brahms Clarinet Trio, op 114, and Shostakovich Trio #2, op. 67, as well as works by Hummel, Boccherini, Mozart, Rebecca Clarke, JS Bach, and Schubert.

The Hill House Chamber Players include musicians from the Minnesota Orchestra and the University of Minnesota faculty. They are Julie Ayer, violin; Tanya Remenikova, cello; and Mary Jo Gothmann, piano.

Admission includes a 6:45 pm pre-concert conversation with musicians and music blogger Emily Hogstad, intermission refreshments, and a post-performance tour of the Hill House. Concerts begin at 7:30 pm.
