Join a special reception celebrating "Weaving Wellness: Art, Community, and Mental Health Resilience," a free Gale Family Library display curated by artist Martha Bird with support by Jes Reyes of Avivo ArtWorks.

The display includes two baskets created by Bird, which were recently acquired by the Minnesota Historical Society, as well as a selection of objects from MNHS collections to create a conversation that connects wellness, community, and art.

A presentation will begin at 6 pm and will include a Lynn O’Brien creative message delivered through song.

MNHS staff will also offer a free tour of the Gale Family Library at 5:10 pm, and free tours of MNHS collections' areas (limited to 25 participants) at 5:10 and 7 pm.

An ASL interpreter will be available for the 5:10 library tour, 6 pm program, and 7 pm collections tour.
