Training/Experience: Paul is the Archaeological Services Group Leader for Stantec’s Mequon, WI and Laurel, MD office. With Stantec, Paul has directed numerous survey and evaluation projects for public and private sector clients including archaeological Phase I survey, Phase II evaluation, and Phase III mitigation investigations at Historic and prehistoric Native American sites in the Mid-Atlantic, Mid-South, Southeast, Midwest, and Great Plains regions. His clients have included DoD facilities, USACE districts, U.S. GSA, NPS, state transportation agencies, local governments, and private developers.

Notes: The Stantec archaeology team can complete archaeological due diligence assessments, Phase I site survey, Phase II NRHP site evaluation, Phase III data recovery, construction monitoring, artifact analysis, and report preparation. Stantec maintains field equipment for crews of up to 15 individuals. Artifacts are processed at the dedicated Stantec archaeology lab. Stantec employs a staff of archaeologists that meet or exceed the Secretary of Interior’s Standards and Guidelines (36 CFR 61) for professional archaeologists. Stantec can concurrently conduct multiple field projects.
