Presented by The Avant Garde, Soul of the Cities is an outdoor concert that features some of the best premier talent in the Twin Cities R&B/Soul scene. The Twin Cities is historic for its musical influence globally on soul music. The raw talent of today’s local music scene carries on that great tradition and sets an incredible tone for its future.

The performance features Ashley DuBose, Len Jones, Jaki and Nick Chirch, backed by an amazing live band musically directed by Ryan Bynum and featuring Art Haynes (bass), Deevo Dee (guitar) and Brandon Johnson (drums). There will be live painting by Kenneth Caldwell. The concert is produced and will be hosted by Chadwick “Niles” Phillips.

Doors open at 7 pm; program begins at 7:30 pm. Seating is general admission, cash bar by D’Amico. Admission is $15; MNHS members save 20%. Age: 21+
