Valentine's Day Tour

Hear stories of love, courtship, romance, and marriage from both the Hill family and their domestic employees.

Explore the rich world of love and romance in the Gilded Age, from calling cards to “basket socials,” lavish Valentine’s Day balls, early personal ads, and the rise of a newfangled practice called “dating.” 

Tours last 60 minutes, and will be offered in place of regular house tours during the first two weeks of February. Admission includes self-guided access to the first floor and part of second and third floors of the mansion along with a Valentine’s-themed guided tour of the entire house.
