About This Event
Learn about Japanese Americans who served during WWII as part of the Military Intelligence Service Language School at Fort Snelling.
Recruited from concentration camps on the west coast, these men and women served while many of their family members were still incarcerated, and it is believed their work shortened the war by years.
The building housing our new visitor center was used as one of their barracks. Learn more about this unique moment over a complimentary cup of coffee in the very same space where the story unfolded.
