Washburn A Mill Tour
Explore the nooks and crannies of the Washburn A Mill, the National Historic Landmark that is the home of Mill City Museum.
The tour highlights the lives of men and women who worked there, how the building functioned during its peak flour milling years, how it changed over time, and how the mill ruin was converted to a museum and office building.
Tour check-in is at 9:45 am. Includes museum admission the day of your tour.

Courtyard Family Day: Stone Arch Bridge Festival
Mill City Museum, the Stone Arch Bridge Festival, and UCare invite you to join us in the Ruin Courtyard for family activities during festival hours!
Try out historic flour milling, make Father's Day cards, catch a photo op with the UCare bicycle, add to the Stone Arch Bridge weave art, and come enjoy a puppet show from Open Eye Theater at 11 am on Sunday.

Minneapolis Riverfront Walking Tour
Walk the Minneapolis riverfront and learn about its dramatic past. On this tour, participants will visit the historic district at St. Anthony Falls, which was once the milling center of the world and is now a growing cultural, recreational, and residential neighborhood.
Your guide will share stories of the people who have lived and worked along the riverfront and how it has changed over the years. Participants will see how the neighborhood has evolved over the years, and will learn about the riverfront renaissance over the last forty years through historic preservation and new development.
Highlights of the outdoor tour include the National Historic Engineering Landmark Stone Arch Bridge, and St. Anthony Falls, the only significant waterfall on the Mississippi River.

"Soul of the Cities III" Presented by the Avant Garde
“Soul Of The Cities” is an outdoor concert in the Ruin Courtyard presented by the Avant Garde that features some of the best premier talent within the Twin Cities R&B/Soul scene.
The Twin Cities is historic for its musical influence globally on soul music. The raw talent of today’s music scene in the cities carries on that great tradition and sets an incredible tone for its future. Hosted by Niles.
Doors at 7 pm, show begins at 7:30 pm. Cash bar provided by D'Amico. Ages 21+.

Sensory Friendly Day: Archaeology
Sensory Friendly Days are events designated for visitors with autism. Families can enjoy activities in the museum courtyard from 9:00 am - 10:00 am with the MNHS Archaeology Department and other organizations before opening to the public.
The event is by reservation only.
