Learn about the Round Tower at Fort Snelling. Built in 1820, the tower was designed as a “last-ditch” defense. This program will explore the many lives of the Round Tower: from the time a 12-pound field gun was mounted atop it in 1827 to later, when it housed everything from ordnance to a private home to a commercial beauty shop.
