About This Event

Join us in the Historic Fort Snelling Visitor Center for a complimentary cup of coffee and our Hearth and Home program.

We will discuss how and where soldiers and their families, officers, and enslaved people lived in the early years of Fort Snelling and hear some of the stories of people who resided at the fort. Using a multimedia presentation and objects, we'll talk about the Commandant's House and its early 1800s "modern technology" to paint a picture of daily life in the 19th century.
