Programmed in partnership with the MSP Film Society and the Minnesota Historical Society, First Thursday Films at the Capri aims to create a space for dialogue and better understanding. In Cotton Comes To Harlem, Harlem’s population is being ripped off by a reverend who claims that small donations will secure parcels of land in Africa. Investigating police officers learn that the donations are being smuggled inside a bale of cotton, the money goes missing, and pandemonium ensues.
