About This Event

Dance your way to Historic Fort Snelling for a day-before-Valentine’s Day warm up!

Join us for an evening of socializing and learning a longways country dance called the Mad Robin, similar to those common at early 19th century social gatherings. We’ll also try a dance called Mr. Beveridge’s Maggot (no actual maggots involved!).

No previous dance experience needed. Attendees are welcome to come in historical dress if they choose but it is not required. Please avoid footwear with wood or metal soles. Light refreshments and punch will be provided. No alcoholic beverages will be served.

Dancers will be accompanied by members of the Historic Fort Snelling Fife & Drum Corps.

Space is limited, so be sure to sign up soon!

Parking is included with ticket.
