About This Event
Join us for a very special staging of The Man Who Bought Minneapolis written by playwright, director, and History Theatre co-founder Lance S. Belville. This critically acclaimed one-man show will be staged for a limited time in the historic setting of Hill’s own home.
James J. Hill's detractors called him a ruthless “Plunderer of the Prairie.” He saw himself as an ambitious dreamer. History labeled him “The Empire Builder.” The Man Who Bought Minneapolis, a play in two acts, reveals both the public and private lives of controversial railroad tycoon James J. Hill, whose presence and vision dominated the Northwest.
