Join MNHS Press author Carolyn Olson for a special reading of her children’s book Pearl’s Garden. Following the story time, take part in a hands-on bean-planting activity that will take place outdoors if weather allows or inside the Visitor Center.
About Carolyn Olson:
Carolyn Olson is a narrative artist based in Duluth, Minnesota. She uses gouache, oil, and pastel to bring everyday life stories to vibrant, visual form. Her “Essential Workers” series celebrates those who continued to work on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
