About This Event
Spend Memorial Day at Historic Fort Snelling! The historic fort will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for self-exploration (no guided tour necessary). The Plank Museum & Visitor Center will be open from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. The fort will host many special historic demonstrations throughout the day, including musical performances by the Brooklyn Big Band and HFS Fife & Drum Corps. We hope to see you there!
Tentative schedule of events:
10:15 am: Flag raising
10:30 am: Fife & Drum concert
11:00 am: Brooklyn Big Band concert
12:00 pm: Historic speech & cannon firing
1:00 pm: Musket firing
1:30 pm: Fife & Drum concert
2:00 pm: Brooklyn Big Band concert
3:00 pm: Historic baseball game
3:45 pm: Flag lowering
