Four days a year, the Minnesota Historical Society will provide FREE admission to its historic sites and museums! Take this opportunity to learn more about our state's history, at no cost to you.
Please check the seasonal hours for each site at mnhs.org/visit.
Funding for free admission is provided by the State of Minnesota's Legacy Amendment, through the vote of Minnesotans on Nov. 4, 2008, and our generous donors and members.
Regular admission to the State Capitol is free. Tours leave at the top of the hour and are 45 minutes. Tours begin at the Capitol Information and Tour Center located in Room 126 on the first floor to the right side of the main (south) entrance. Last tour begins at 2 pm.
